It rained yesterday evening, the food plots look better already. This is my corn and eagle soy beans. I've got a lot of small plots of these through out the farm. They were developed for wildlife plots. This is an acre of sun flowers. Hopefully the deer will let them grow till they flower. So far the deer have only ate a few. This is about 3 acres of eagle beans that reseeded themselves.Last year the snow may have helped by hiding the beans from the snow geese. The only expense I had this year was spraying with round up. The corn started to tassel this week. This is the small plot back at the old house that Ed and I planted.
Here are two nice bucks that I think I can give the green light on this season. They only come out after dark. Here's a close up of one of their racksThe antlers are still growing, hopefully the minerals are going to the racks. Here's The Kia on the right-away to the old house plot. They harvested the wheat this week, so we got a new straw stack.Dakota took a good picture.I'm adding some minerals here and the deer cam got me.Heres some picture from over the week end. Bonnie got some crabs and I cooked them with Rick's help.Dad is working on the garden.Abby always wants to wear my hat. Mark has help.
